Can someone please recommend some books..
I shouldnt even be asking this question since I am a preschool teacher, but I am drawing a blank right now.
What books would you recommend for your one year old? I want books that I can read to her before bedtime. I have so many books that are interactive..i.e. where is your belly button, the touch and feel books, etc. I love them but they stimulate her too much before going to sleep.
Of course we have goodnight moon, the napping house but I am looking for others. Anyone?

My DS really loves all the Sesame Street books (Cookie Kisses, So Big ...). They're good because they are broken into categories depending on the age-appropriateness.

I just bought a really cute bedtime book yesterday. I felt like DD was getting bored by the same 4 every night. It's a touch & feel peekaboo book with flaps. The title is "Bedtime Peekaboo" published by DK Books. I got it in Borders. ETA: We read it last night & DD loved it.
