Can someone recommend a doctor (Gyno)that you would deliver at Stony Brook..
I love the doctors I used now, but for the next baby I would like to deliver at Stony Brook. Any Suggestions?
I used to go to Suffolk OBGYN and I didn't like them.

I agree with this. I have seen most doctors there, but now mainly see Vanessa Sorviero.

Midwives try to not intervene so much like w/ inductions, C-sec's,etc.... they have no problem giving you pain meds if you wan't them , they are very supportive ,and really do care !! I absolutely loved them !

I used her when she was at her practice at winthrop and loved her! She is too far to travel to for me but I totally recommend her as well! She is wonderful!

Same here! Dr. Sorviero delivered my son in June and she was great. All of the doctors in the practice were great in my opinion.

I just switched from Suffolk OB to Stonybrook Midwives for the same reason. I wanted to deliver at Stonybrook this time although I had no issues at St Charles. I have my 1st appointment in about 2 weeks so I can't say how I feel about them but i've heard nothing but great things!!

oh ok then michele manners who is affliated with dr. san roman in port jefferson. i loved her, she comes highly recommended on here to from what i've seen.

Same here! Dr. Sorviero delivered my son in June and she was great. All of the doctors in the practice were great in my opinion.
She delivered my daughter also. She is awesome and that was my first time meeting her. She was my Dr covering Dr. I go to Julie Welischar

I go to Dr Arato & Blascyzck. LOVE THEM! They delivered both of my girls. They are right on 347 and deliver at Stony Brook and St Charles

I would look into the Midwives at Stonybrook. They have a great reputation.
They are highly trained, certified women. In fact, they do a residency similar to an GYN minus the surgery.
