So I woke up this morning with a temp drop so severe, it looked like it jumped off a clift. Well I am out. My first IUI total failure. I was feeling so bummed this morning I barely worked out at the gym. I go into work feeling pretty sh--y. Well, as I try to figure out how to make it through the day my sister calls me. Our family dog is sick and she can't get him into her car to take him to the vet. I leave the office to go help her and she calls me and says she got him into the car. I tell her I will meet her at the vet. I get to the vet and they are already seeing my dog. The vet comes out to see us and shows us the x-rays. On the x-ray she shows us a big watemelon size circle that she later explains is a tumor. My dog has cancer. Not only that it has spread. Spread way to much to operate. We are going to have to put him down. My mom is on her way to the vet and we wait for her to make the decision. The vet comes out a few minutes later to say he has already died. I am so totally bummed. So now this day has just gotten so much harder.
RIP BJ. You were loved.

I'm so sorry  I know the pain of losing your family dog, especially so quickly, and I know the pain of your first IUI failing... but I can't imagine having to go thru them together.

OMG, sweetie, I am so, so sorry. What a horrible day for you. You shouldn't have to deal with both of these things in the same day.
My heart goes out to you & your family; it is so hard to lose a beloved family pet. At least he didn't have to suffer. Try to take some comfort in that.
You're in my prayers.

I am so sorry for the day you are having. Unfortunately, I know the pain of losing a dog. I lost mine last year and it was super hard. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. I am feeling better. Really taking a look at life with a new perspective. It will be hard the next time going to my mom's house and not seeing him there, but I will make it through. Thanks again for the outpour of support. I really appreciate it.
