I hope so because I was on a bacon kick for quiet awhile. And I live on cheese, especially deli american. I would just becareful with the bacon because of the sodium.

I'm asking because last night, I made a bacon and cheese sandwich on italian bread. That's it on it, nothing else. And it was delicious!!! 
I do remember eating bacon a lot with my other PG's so I'm pretty sure it's ok except to not over do it because of the sodium too. The deli sliced Boar's Head cheese is so much better than packaged cheese. That I can't remember if I ate or not since I gave up cold cuts.

I know the bacon has nitrates too I think. I still eat bacon- just try to limit it.
I also eat tons of deli cheese.
But all that stuff has so much sodium that i have to really watch with my BP issues lately.

They recommend limiting bacon because of the nitrates, but I def eat it in moderation.
Deli cheese should be fine!

i ate bacon my whole pg just now i stopped because of the water in my ankles i cut down on the salt but still having sliced cheese

Deli cheese should be fine!
yup! what she said! and just make sure the deli uses different slicers for the meat and the cheese. they're supposed to be but not all places follow the rules.

Bacon = fine.
I thought anything that touches a deli slicer is a no-no. If we can't eat deli meats because of listeria, and deli meats and cheeses use the same slicer, then the cheeses could carry listeria too. I think you should avoid them.

Agreed. Not to mention I eat the deli meat too! So who am I to answer?
