Can we talk about something other then the election?
anything...please..lol I am home sick and if I read one more thread about listing candidates good points and bad points I am gonna go bonkers!!!
Cant we talk about Christmas? or school closings when it snows?

For Christmas, both my SILs want gift cards, which means they probably want to give us gift cards. Why can't we all just keep our own money???
I stopped exchanging gifts with my brothers when they started having kids. We buy for our parents and the kids and that's it. That's FINE with me. It's getting to be so expensive and ridiculous... Yet, my DH's family will not let go of it and we spend so much money every year on presents. His family, their own traditions and that's fine - but it's so expensive to buy for EVERYONE and in exchange we get stuff we don't want or need. DH isn't that into Christmas and gets annoyed by the whole thing, too.

It's cloudy and a bit chilly in FL today. DS and I are just relaxing in sweats today and I may attempt to make monkey bread  Anyone who knows me knows I am a disaster in the kitchen and attempting to make monkey bread not sure how the results will be

2. ITA agree that trading gift cards kinda defeats the purpose. I hate going into debt just for Xmas time.. Altho every year somehow, it happens..
