can we talk bar stools...to swivel or not to swivel
we are planning on building a bar height counter next to our bar in the living room and I want to get stools either 2 or 3 depending on space.
I LOVE this one, but it doesn't swivel
)
this one swivels and it's nice but I don't love it as much. I would get it though if my guests would prefer it. I am also open to other swivel options.
as a guest, what would you prefer.
to set the scene, the bar would be against the wall opposite the fireplace, so you would either sit facing each other or turned about and facing the rest of the room. obviously the chairs can be easily turned around also, but is swivel slightly more convenient????

In your instance - swivel.
I do love the look of the non-swivel though.
I just think as a guest - I would prefer swivel. Aaaaand when I was a kid - I loved being on my parents swivel bar stools.

I hate swivel stools, the look, the feel... so I vote for non swivel.

I love the look of non-swivels.. but I would only ever do a swivel stool. I have seen what my wood floors look like when people continually turn their chairs to face other action.
