Can we talk bottles again? I know we've done this so many times!
At 19 months old we still have 2 bottles a day --- a morning & night bottle.
She's such a picky and usually sparce eater that I feel bad taking them away from her --- I feel like she needs the nutrition.
Are we the only ones still doing the bnottle? My Ped. told us to get rid of them at 1 year and 7 months later and I don't really see an end in sight.

My DD just turned 1 and she is having 1 bottle a day... AT night usually. She kind of weaned herself, so it wasn't too hard. Our pedi would like to see her off that last one by 15 months.

I was the same way with the bottles. We kept them around much longer than most people because DD is so picky.
My dd has been eating much better since I took away the bottles. I think we were both using them to fill her belly. Now she relys on food more.

do whatever works for you, if she is 3 and still wants a bottle, who cares, give her what she wants

my DD is almost 3 and she still takes her milk from her bottles. She drinks everything with sippy cups, regular cups but with milk she wants it in her bottle. I even sterilizes her bottle almost every night

Still 2 bottles/day here-
Honestly whenever I get ready to trash them- he goes on a food strike, and I feel like I "cant"...
Honestly- Im not stressing about it- by the time he hits 2 we will get rid of the bottle- Im just gonna wake up and throw them in the garbage.... Until then- Its 2 bottles of milk only a day... NO ONE would even know my son still drank a bottle if I didnt tell them!

Sara is 15 months and we are now bottle free. I dont think she is drinking as much milk as she should but since she doesnt cry for the bottle I dont give it to her. If I gave Sara milk in a bottle I know she would drink more milk.
