Can we talk teething biscuits?
I gave DS the barley teething biscuit from Earth's Best, and within seconds he was able to get a huge chunk off the end, and almost choked on another smaller piece. Is there a better/tougher organic teething cookie that I can get for him?
Any one else have the same issue?
TIA

They all do that - the Gerber biter biscuits too - you just have to sit there and watch them with it....

HATED THEM ALL Every time I gave one to DD she would bite a chunk off and I'd have to fish it out of her mouth. VERY unsafe IMO.
I bypassed them all together.

We use Nabisco Zwieback. Connor loves them and they turn into a gummy mess so fast wehave not had problems.
Pain to clean up, though!

I hated the Earth's Best for that reason- I give him Zwiebacks now.

My ped told us not to give them to DD bc they are choking hazards.

I just watch him closely...
The Zwiebacks are the same though, he gets big old pieces . Plus they have high Fructose Corn syrup in them, which IMO ( and my opinion only ) is a horrid ingredient to give to any baby.
I got Noah these at Whole Foods but they are soooooooo long...and sooo hard. they definatly wont break off, but he doesnt like them as much as the earths best?
I nbought them b/c they are wheat free and he seems to be getting diaper rashes after eating wheat so Im trying to avoid it another month or two..
