I dont know. I stopped drinking diet soda and just went with regular soda when I had one, which was probably one can 3x a week

Technically you shouldn't because of the artificial sweetner. But anything in moderation, right?
I was a diet soda drinker, but I chose to give it up during pregnancy. If I have a soda I'll drink regular. But, I guess we shouldn't really be drinking regular soda either! Since soda really isn't good for us anyway!

Nope the diet "sugars" can cause or interfere with infant PKU or something but no diet drinks.

I gave up diet soda for both pregnancies. This time around I have seltzer w/ lemon or if I must have soda I will have 1/2 seltzer mixed w/ 1/2 sprite.

i just asked the doctor this today..and he said Diet Caffiene free is fine! i was so happy to hear this.. even though im gonna still cut down.. and try to drink more water

me too. I also avoid any foods that have artif. sweeteners (yogurt, jello, pudding, etc.)

I do within moderation. Tonight I actually drank diet pepsi - caffeine free.
My Dr said when she was in residency doing her OB training, she drank 2 liters just to get her through while she was pregnant!

I do on occasion. In the beginning, I never did, but lately when I am out to dinner, I get one. I miss diet coke so much, it is such a treat every once in awhile.

My doc said defiently not during the first trimester, after that if I want to treat myself occasionally it's okay. She said by the second trimester everything has already formed and there's no changing it.
If I am craving the soda, I just take a sip of DHs regular.

I'm not a soda drinker at all personally (for stomach issues) but I do remember my Doctor telling me at one of my first visits that Diet soda is off limits due to the sweeteners and things that are in it.

I drink it in moderation. I have to watch my sugar intake so my Dr is fine with me eating or drinking foods with Aspertame in it in moderation.
