can you eat Chinese food?
CAn you eat Chinese food while preggo? I have never read anywhere that you can't, but I think someone once told me not to eat it. I am CRAVING it!!!

yeah it makes me very bloated...and last time I ate it I didnt feel so good after, like my heart was racing

You might want to ask if they add MSG. If they do, go somewhere else. A lot of Chinese restaurants don't add it these days (or say they don't anyway).
I'm not sure what that would do, but I think "What to Expect" didn't recommend MSG. But then, that book is so cautious.

That happened to me too...in the beginning I couod not stand the smell or sight of a chinese place...but it wore off in the second tri and I am back to getting it whenever I want. Just drink a lot of water with it!!!

I eat it a lot less now than before mainly because of the salt content and I'm kind of more hesitant about any kind of take out now that I'm pregnant.

Unless you are me and you have to beef up the salt intake for medical reasons. My parents made me eat Lo-Mein with soy sauce and added salt today. I don't even like Chinese food. Anyway, I see no reason not to eat it unless it is from a place that you just don't trust.
