Can you recommend a hotel and things to do in CHI-Town?
I saw the thread on Chicago...but I have no idea what hotels are in "Magnificent Mile".
The D to the H loves Chicago, although he's never been and our 2 year anny is coming up, so I want to take him.
It would be 3 nights in late May.
I'm thinking seeing a Mets game would rock (have to check the schedule).
We're lazy. Love to drink. And are not into sightseeing.
So, what can we do? 
Where would you recommend we stay?

I want to book it soon because MD weekend is a busy travel time.
I'm afraid he's going to want to move there after the trip!!

we went last month! We stayed at the Marriot on Mag. Mile! PERFECT location!

We went to Chicago several years ago for a long weekend, mostly we went out to eat (will try to remember restaurants, but it was our very 1st experience at Cheesecake Factory and the Crab house before we knew what thet were LOL), The Navy Pier, Shopping, went to this awesome blues bar
B.L.U.E.S. nothing fancy but it just felt so authentic.
oh and the zoo we went there too.
Lincoln Park Zoo
We walked every where.

I used to live there - there are tons of hotels Hotels
One of my favorite places to eat is Cafe Babareeba in Lincoln Park - its a Tapas place.
I'll be there in April.
