Can you recommend your point and shoot?
I'm looking to get one for my mom.
Currently, she has a Kodak easy share. Simple to use. She's not a very techie person, so the basic, the better.

the Canon Powershots have always rated consistently high.

Get her anything but Kodak. I've had the worst history with them. I had the kodak photo printer at home so I kept buying kodak cameras only to be disappointed again and again.

I have a Cannon Powershot SD940 IS. LOVE IT! Easy to just point and shoot, but also easy to use some of its special settings if you want to.
I get many compliments on my photos and a lot of them are because of the color/picture quality.
