if you did before you were preggo then my OB would say yes. but if you are just starting, then no.
she told me you can pretty much do any exercise you did pre-preggo except high-impact stuff like aerobics or weight lifting.

You can for a bit. My SIL did. But after a while, the bump will get in the way - and as you be careful because your balance can be affected.

I feel like early on you can but once you start to grow your balance gets thrown off and it will be harder. I am too nervous to do it so I just stick to walking.

You have to be very careful of gravity and sense of balance. It all gets thrown off when you are pregnant and that combined with riding a bike could make for a dangerous situation.
I wouldn't worry too much in the very beginning, but IMO, it's better to be safe than sorry.

you guys had me at "gravity" and "sense of balance"
I am a klutz on a GOOD day. I have problems with my equilibrium 
dh will not allow me to ride his child on a bike with these dangers in mind  I am surprised he still lets me walk around

Hubby REFUSED to put on a child seat on the back of my bike for these reasons. On a good day, I am a phenomenal clutz. For that reason alone, I gave up riding my bike as soon as I got my BFP.
