Re: Can You Show me Pics Of Baby High Chairs
I really wanted a cherywood classic hc but I found that they were not practical for everyday use. I wanted something that could be disinfected and sprayed down(not cloth that has to be washed), wheels to bring them close to the table, reclining back for when they are drinking a bottle. I really like my Peg Perego. And now that DD is eating solids and they get stuck in every nook and cranny I am so glad I got this one and not fabric. Image Attachment(s):

Where did you get this from? I love it. DH and I really like the cherrywood high chairs for some reason. Hmm, we may have to think it over again based on some points you brought up.

Re: Can You Show me Pics Of Baby High Chairs
The problem with most wood ones is that they don't recline. That is why we didn't get one
Andrew needed to be reclined for his first months in it. And now he likes to be reclined when he drinks his bottle in the high chair.
This is the one we have. Nothing fancy. I love it and it was inexpensive

They have it at BRU and I think I've seen it at BBB too. It's not as pretty as the cherrywood but it's not too bad because it's simple colorwise.
I love this one at poshtots though .... but it doesn't recline cherry hc

This one from poshtots is beautiful but it would not make sense to get a wooden high chair if it does not recline.
I am going to check out BRU to look at the your Baby's high chair.

Re: Can You Show me Pics Of Baby High Chairs
I find the wooden highchairs to be MUCH easier to keep clean than the ones with the plastic covered cushions. I originally bought a GORGEOUS Chicco Polly, which I loved. But once self feeding started...OY VEY! I couldn't get a replacement wooden chair fast enough!!! I got a Babydan chair, which isn't suitable for a small baby, but by the time you will start using a high chair, your baby can sit up and you can use a chair like this with the cushion that it comes with, you might want to use a bouncy chair until that point.
Everyday, 3 times a day I had to: a. wash down both trays, topside, underside and side sides b. take the cushions out of the seat and get all the leftover foodbits out of there... c. wash the seat back and the arms, and the legs
And, every week or so I had to take the whole thing apart to clean the straps in the washing machine. It was too much work for me. With my current wooden one, I just wash it down, use a kitchen sponge...no nooks, no crannies. I love it!!! Image Attachment(s):

Re: Can You Show me Pics Of Baby High Chairs
DS has the Peg Perego Prima Pappa High chair in oatmeal leatherette and we/he loves it!!
It is comfortable, it reclines and it is very easy to clean.

I have the Peg Perego also & got it b/c a friend has it & raves about it. The few times I have used it when watching her DS it was easy to use & to clean...so I was sold! I registered for it at BBB.

I have the same one and am so thankful everytime I clean up his mess after he eats, especially with solids. I couldnt imagine using a cloth or wooden one.
