Fruit
High fiber, low sugar cereal (I heard that Optimum Power is good because it also has protein) with skim milk
Cottage Cheese (fat free or 1%)
Egg white omlette w/ veggies
Whole wheat toast w/ natural peanut butter

Re: Can you suggest healthy breakfast ideas
IMO Cereals are a NO NO, because of the very high carb count. ( I am on a low card diet) and it's all refined sugars etc...Even the high fiber ones are not good, just read the label and you'll see.
I usually do 3 egg whites, either on whole wheat toast or as an omlet. Sometimes I add peppers and onions and maybe some fat free cheese or ham or turkey.
For taste, I add all natural Salsa.
Sometimes I will toast 2 slices of WW bread and all all natural peanut butter and cut up a banana and have that, its FANTASTIC!
You can also try half a grapefruit w/ a little splenda

I had tried cutting out the (regular) oatmeal to be replaced w/ Whole Wheat but I realized the carbs in the oatmeal I was having (27g) was about the same as the two pieces of WW bread. How many grams of carbs does your WW bread have and which kind do you eat?

Re: Can you suggest healthy breakfast ideas
I find that cereals dont fill me up in the morning, I would eat a cup and then be hungry an hour later. I used to make this 3 point breakfast sandwich which filled me up:
1 low calorie english muffin (1 point)
1 serving egg beaters 1/4 cup (1 point) or you can use 3 egg whites, I believe 1 whole egg is 2 points if you would rather use that (which would make the sandwich 4 points instead of 3)
1 slice 2% fat american cheese (1 point) .
I was able to find low fat turkey bacon which was one slice= 0 points which I would cut in half and put on the sandwich.
Enjoy!
ETA: 2% slice of cheese is 1 point, not 2 like I had originally posted.

Re: Can you suggest healthy breakfast ideas
I switch between:
1 cup Bran cereal with a banana
1 whole grain english muffin with preserves
2 special K frozen waffles
yogurt with grape nuts or granola
Its better to eat a large meal in the AM than for dinner....plus I dont have time in the morning to cook eggs or anything hot

Re: Can you suggest healthy breakfast ideas
Breakfast has always been the hardest meal for me because I never give myself enough time to prepare something good and satisfying. I made these individual egg/spinach quiche things for a brunch and I love them. And they are so easy. I make them on Sunday for the entire week. I will eat these as a snack as well.
Dice small or half of a medium white onion. Cook over medium heat with some EVOO until onions get soft, not brown. Add one package of thawed and drained spinach. Simmer until there is no moisture left. Add the above mixture to five beaten eggs in a bowl and mix. At this point you can add shredded cheese, the recipe called for muenster, but I don't eat cheese. Salt and pepper. Then I scoop them into individual muffin pans that I had lightly sprayed with PAM. I bake for 30 minutes at 350 or until the eggs are no longer loose. After cooling, I put them in tupperware and heat them up in the microwave for 25 seconds each morning.
