Can you take this kind of prenatal vitamin????
Are the gummi vitamins acceptable or not? I have a hard time swallowing pills.
I heard that there is a prenatal about the size of a BCP?
anyone ever heard? what does your dr. prescribe you or what do you take over the counter that is small?

I doubt a gummi vitamin is enough. Plus, make sure whatever vitamin you take has a DHA supplement which is important for a baby's brain development when you are pregnant. I take Rx pre-natals but they are pretty big pills. Citrnatal Assure.

Re: Can you take this kind of prenatal vitamin????
If the gummy type of vitamin contains folic acid at 400mg, then I think that should be okay. I take the one a day prenatal vitamins, which contains 2 pills. One is a multivitamin with folic acid and the other one is a fish oil capsule. They are both pretty big (at least to me). I also have a really hard time swallowing them but I got used to them after a while. I don't know if I've ever heard of a prenatal vitamin that's the size of a bcp. That would be pretty awesome!

since my m/c my dr told me to keep taking a vitamin, either prenatal or multivitamin, she said over the counter is fine doesn't need DHA (I can switch to those when I get a BFP)
I think any kindof vitamin is fine while you're TTC and when your pg you can switch.

I posted a while ago, but my friend is a sono tech and brought me some samples. One is chewable!! It's called Select-OB+DHA and it can be chewed or swallowed. It is prescription only so ask your doc. It is made by Everett Laboratories.
