Try this website and do the lease worksheet.

I know it's the EX but I don't know if that is fully loaded.

if you're planning on a 12K miles a yr lease with $1500 down, based on this link, you're quote is a few dollars less than what this site says.

I would haggle some more and even go to another dealer.

$24,000.

I am not sure how they computed the numbers for the lease, but if its the EX with allwheel drive then 24k isn't a bad price.

If it doesn't have AWD then it's probably too much.

2008 Honda CR-V lease for $310/month?

$1500 due at signing (includes tax, title, fees, security deposit, downpayment, blah, blah, blah).

I talked them down from $375.

Good? Bad? Average?

Average price...

very good deal. Make sure you are not putting money down on the lease. Make sure that all of the money out of pocket is toward tax, reg, first month and talk them out of the security deposit if your credit is good.

Try to negotiate on the out of pocket expense.

The less out of pocket the better the deal. I would roll the tax into the payment.

If the car has leather, moonroof, alloys CD, bluetooth..etc...it's loaded.

36 month lease? 12K?

It doesn't have leather, bluetooth or XM radio. But it does have moonroof, alloys, alarm, etc. It's a 48 month lease with 12,000 miles/year.

I thought it was good but now I'm second guessing myself. Chat Icon

nope, not good. Now if they can make the 36 month for that price, then it's good. My loose numbers come up with about $360/month for a 36 month. For four years on a lease you might as as well own it.

Re: Can you tell me if this car deal is good???

What is the residual on it? The amount that you're leasing should be roughly 50-52% of the price of the car, which I think you said is $24k.

Just to give you an idea... My truck price was $30k. I am only paying $14,500 on the lease. For 39 months/12k miles it comes out to $374 per month.

Also, I wouldn't do a 48 month lease. Like someone else said, you might as well buy it. I noticed dealerships are going for longer financing periods. DH was looking at ads the other day and some were for 84 months! It's ridiculous.

I see. We just did the 48 month to lower our monthly payments, I didn't think of that. DH has the paperwork with him at work so I don't know the residual on it but I think it was good.

this is exactly right. Honda's residual should be very high. One of the highest in the industry. I wouldn't be surprised if it was higher than that as well.

I lease cars exclusively and have a lot of leasing experience. Most recently two new Camrys. One was stickered at 30K. I took out a 36 month lease and rolled everything but reg and first month into the lease. $370 for 36 months 12K. The other one stickered at 25K, tax up, reg and first month, 36 months 15K $339.

You need to negotiate on the price of the car not the payment. Go onto Edmunds.com and get the invoice price. That's where you start.
