Can you use a boxspring on a platform/captains bed
I want to get dd a new bed and the one I love is like a captains bed with drawers under it. Dh will kill me if I get it and we cant use the boxspring we just recently bought.

Can you use a boxspring on a platform/captains bed
i don't think you do usually. i guess you can, but it will make the bed really high.

I would say no as it might be to much weight on the captains bed frame and it would be really high for her to get in and out of.

I have a platform bed with drawers/storage underneath (from bob's) and have the bob-o-pedic and a box spring and it's fine. It's a bit higher then normal but I love it!
