OK, so if youre included in a candidate pool, this doesnt necessarily mean you will have an interview right ?

a candidate pool is the people they will interview. sometimes they ask if you want to be interviewed in the event that you have found another job, no longer looking, etc. so you definitely want to e-mail back and say you are interested in being a part of the candidate pool.
