candy apple question

I can make them today for Fri/Sat.. right? I'm just worried about where you poke the stick in getting yucky or something.. but I can't imagine that all the ones in the stores/at fairs are freshly made.

Also.. refridgerated or not?

Wrapped up or not?

Re: candy apple question

I just did one 2 weeks ago, i did it the night before but i think today should be fine..when i finished an apple I put it on a wax papered tray and that was a mistake because when I was taking them out (after I refrigerated them) the paper got stuck to the caramel, the tray should be greased so its easy to take out.

I placed them in one of those big aluminum pans that comes with a plastic lid, it was easy to transport.

It’s so fun and easy...have fun!!
