Candy Crush thread
I thought I'd try a thread for any Candy Crush fanatics. Level you're at, tips and tricks, CC friends you can add to your list, frustrations about certain levels, etc.
In Candy Crush Saga, I'm currently on level 2211.
In Candy Crush Soda, I'm on level 1215.
I haven't gotten into Candy Crush Jelly.

I'm on level 1080. I was playing CC on the train and this 20 something year old guy said that he was surprised that the app still existed (hence, making me feel like an old fart). He then proceeded to show me some updated games.

There are hundreds of Tetris apps available, so that just proves that a game with addictive, good gameplay will outlast any "updated" game that is trendy just because it's "new" (which it probably isn't. Most new games are rehashes or derivatives of older games. Including Candy Crush...)

Exactly- like I said, I got into Cookie Jam and it's really the same thing as Candy Crush. Just a different name, different items, etc.

I haven't played CC in a long time because I can't seem to get past this one level, which I can't even remember now, it's been that long since I opened it up. I know I was completely frustrated by it, so I stopped playing.
Toy Blast on the other hand....I'm obsessed with this game and I'm on level 436 or something like that.

still playing Saga, just started playing again after over a year break bc I got stuck on one board forever and it pissed me off.

I'm so glad you posted this - I thought I was the only one left playing. I'm on 1147 and stuck/bored of this level...
ETA - im only playing saga. Could never really get into the soda one.

Do you use the hammers, or other special items? Sometimes that's the only way to get past levels you're stuck on. Color bombs and stripes/wrapped are very useful on that board.
Also, there are some levels that are a little different on the PC vs handheld. I've had a couple of levels (don't remember which ones off-hand), that I couldn't finish for weeks on my phone, but finally went through my browser and finished in a couple of attempts. One board in particular had something like 15 moves on the phone, but 25 in the browser, so of course it was much easier!

Yes I've noticed that some levels seem easier to beat on the computer. Thanks for the tips. I haven't played in a few days, but am now motivated to get back at it

Level 300. Got stuck and stopped playing for a long while.
It doesn't keep my interest for long.
I did start playing AlphaBetty a short while ago.
That's about the only things I play on my phone/tablet.

I stopped playing for a year and a half but got back into it this year and on level 808. If I'm stuck I go to candy crush cheats on google and tells you what you need to beat the level

What's your least-favorite type of board? I hate the timed ones. I play CC to relax and distract myself, not to play as fast as I can before the timer runs down....

I enjoy the timed ones! Though they make me so anxious anything with bombs I hate.
