It is! How the heck do you beat this level?
I carefully built up side ways gems (the ones with stripes) and was VERY careful to be sure they only went 'off' in the chocolate. I kept the X'ed ones alone as long as I could but kept options to open them above, just in case I accidently broke them free.. If I couldn't get the chocolates cleared and if I was lucky to have a sprinkled ball I'd set it off with a striped candy and let it clear out.
It took me a few days but I finally got it!

I'm so confused. Do you guys actually pay money for more lives? It's telling me to wait like 25 minutes to get more lives unless I pay. I don't have Facebook, does that have anything to do with it??

Never. I either wait until the time is up or set the time on iPad forward a couple of hours and bam! 5 new lives!

I named level 147 Candy Crush purgatory! I think I lucked out and had many chocolate balls/ striped candy combos to help me wipe out the board.
