Can't believe what I just heard
I work as a part-time travel agent in my friend's agency, so this woman calls asking for fares to Europe... I wanted to give her fare on Jet Airways through Brussels (which is a discount airline from India that just started operating on European market) anyways, she goes: "who are the pilots?" I was a bit confused what she was asking me and then she goes: "what is their skin color, I only fly with people that have the same skin color as I do" omg, let me tell you, I was in shock, I have never heard anyone being so disrespectful, I just wanted to hang up! ***** is wrong with people?

I asked how does she fly anywhere? she just started going on and on how white pilots have the experience on the planes.... I didnt want to get into it with her though....

How did she know she wasn't speaking to a person of color? Why would she take the chance of saying something that ignorant and offensive to someone ON THE PHONE who was about to take very private information from her (credit card info, home address, etc.) and could use that info in revenge against her? It's just ignorant on so many levels!

I mean, how exactly can one find out what color is the skin of the pilot?
