cant sleep or stop crying
my best friend had her baby last night (healthy baby boy just over 7lbs)...i am soo happy for her, but i am really jealous all at the same time, i want my baby to be here so badly i am really upset that she isnt here yet...i havent slept for more then an hour tonight and whenever i am awake anything makes me start crying...i just cant seem to help it...i feel like a fool because i should just be happy for them and know that my little one will be here when she is ready but i really wanted her here for christmas which i guess could still happen but i have a feeling shes going to hold out...ugh sorry just had to get that out...just having a really bad emotional night

YOu still may have our christmas baby. Not to worry. Good luck. Im sure the tears is all a part of the hormonal process. Try and get your sleep. YOu need your rest for the birthing process.

these horomes need to stop already...i ended up getting about 4 hours of decent sleep...then woke up feeling the same...happy and sad all at the same time with tears coming down my face...i hope this isnt a forshadowing of what is to come after she gets here

There's still a chance you can have your baby by X-mas. One of my best friends was due Dec 25th and just had her daughter on Dec 16th. Feel better

I know exactly how you feel! I am due Jan 7 but i really just want to have the baby now. everytime i hear about someone going early i get very jealous. i just know i am going to be late!!!!!! I am getting so uncomfortable. As much as i love being pregnant, i am ready for it to be over! don't worry, your little one might still make an appearance before christmas!

I am right there with you!
TODAY is my due date and nothing. I am not dilated, no contractions, baby is still hanging out high. So I know how you feel.
Try not to think about it too much, just enjoy your last few nights before baby comes because once she is here your life will never be the same

thank you so much for all your responses, they are helping me feel a little better...still having a bad day...dosent help that its gloomy out...i have a doc appt today so hopefully shes got some good news for me...
Kelly hopefully your one of those girls who just goes into labour no signs...that would be great! we can be each others support group for now...along with shelly cause i think shes going insane too
thank goodness we have all the girls on here! you guys help soooo much!!!

Thanks for the thoughts. i just got depressed when I noticed that I was knocked off the expecting list, yet baby is still inside!
Trust me I know how you feel, yesterday was a big crying day when I went to the dr to find still no progress. And my baby is measuring about 9 and a half pounds so they want me to go for a section in the next few days.
But I realized that it doenst matter how the baby gets here or when as long as its healthy and everyone is okay.
Now I am trying to get everything in order in my house for the upcoming event! But its hard to get motivated!

Can I jump in here?
I am a mom to an 11 month old.
My due date was Jan. 26th.
Well, out of no where on Jan. 14th my water broke and he entered the world on Jan. 15th.
At my dr. appointment exactly the week before, there was no dialation, my cervix was closed..No signs of labor at all!
Just wanted to say..Anything can happen..Any Day.

Kelly- your right it dosent matter how they get here as long as they are safe and healthy...DH told me last night to try and make me feel better as i was balling my eyes out that you cant rush perfection so i guess we can try and think of it that way!
and the other poster has experience in going from nothing to delivering so that gives you something to look forward to! you have an end in sight so that is awesome vag. or c-section just as long as it comes healthy!

Just keep reminding yourself that you are blessed to be pg and to be delivering your ds or dd very shortly.....There are many ladies who are crying because they cant get a BFP...
Before you know, you will be a mom!!
