Car Accident Yesterday
So, I am home from work today cuz some guy totally rear ended me on the expressway yesterday morning...my truck is a disaster and I am worried that they are going to total it...plus my neck and back are killing me...sort of depressed about the whole thing.

Yeah, I went to the hospital yesterday - I started feeling nauseous and had a headache. They said to wait a few days cuz they said my symptoms were whiplash related.
He hit me while I was at a dead stop and he must have been doing 40 mph.

I think I am more upset about the truck
A - I love my truck
B - I really don't want to have to buy a new vehicle
C - I don't know if they will total it or fix it, and if they fix it will probably never be the same. I am pretty sure the frame is bent cuz it crumpled and the back passenger doors won't open.

I've been in the same kind of accident with the same pain. I hope they gave you anti-inflammatorys. If not, please go to your own doc and get these to avoid any further pain. I made the mistake of waiting and my neck and back got so bad that by the time I was prescribed meds, it was too late. It took days for the swelling to go down even with muscle relaxants. Take care of yourself and keep us updated.

I'm really sorry that happened to you. I was also rear ended many yrs ago while at a complete stop. my car was totalled and it s*cked, but I got a better car out of it.
