Car buying question
How do rebates work?
Am I still financing the full amount? Then, what- they send me a check for th edifference? Anyone ever successfully asked fo rht eprice to just be lowered?

Last time I got a rebate it was in 1990, so I am not sure it works the same, but I got them to apply the rebate to the down payment, and financed the balance only.

We had a rebate on one of ours and they subtracted it from our downpayment.
