Car loans
I'm looking to get a new car loan with another bank, since I'm paying close to a 10% interest rate for my car for 8 years (I got gipped when I bought it!) Anybody have any idea who has the best rates? Im' currently with Chase and not feelen them anymore. I have pretty good credit - would it be a bad idea to contact several places and see who has the best deal? Wasn't sure if that would ruin my credit score. Thanks! I'm clueless...

I actually did it online a few days ago, when I should have just called and talked to somebody, since they approved me of a high rate with refinancing... So I just wanted to see if there was anybody else worth checking out before I did that one. Thanks!!

Nope - I guess credit unions have the best rates usually? Do you have to join one to get a loan? How do you go about that? lol sorry for all the questions - just anxious to get a lower payment!! For $475 a month, I could have gotten a much nicer SUV!!

What yr is the car? A lot of rates are based off that as a start.
