caramel apples
planning to give these out for my daughters b-day party. was wondering which apples are best?

I like Granny smith. The tartness makes it a good balance with the sweetness of the caramel.

for the kiddies I would probably do macintosh. they are usually smaller, which is a plus, and they are a bit sweeter.
otherwise I agree with granny smith. but any apple will do really.
the only one I probably wouldn't use is red delicious, b/c I find the skin too thick.
can you make me one? I love them.
