Its better for you that this happened because now they'll do a thorough check of their facilities and it'll be much safer for you

You'll be fine. I got married at Leonard's. About a year before my wedding, they were one of a few halls featured on the news for "health violations"...their violation was rather minor. My wedding was great- everyone raved about it and everyone was happy and healthy.
Then, we were guests at 2 other LI halls- at one wedding, we received raw chicken for dinner and at the other, a member of the bridal party ended up getting sick during the reception and claimed it was food poisoning...neither of those halls were ever "featured" for having problems, so go figure!

Your and Janie's comments about your weddings there...that you weren't exactly happy with the place...and a few other people that had their weddings there and weren't exactly taken care of the way they thought they would be.

But, doesn't every hall have it's fair share of those types of complaints from brides? From your earlier comment, I thought you heard some kind of health/safety issues unique to Leonards.

Before I get another hole ripped here...Yes, there was another article in the news I believe last yeah about some kitchen/health violations there, and yes the majority of the comments I heard were about the service there. And yes, every hall has some types of complaints form brides, you're absolutely right.

No one is trying to rip another hole (at least I'm not, anyway).
I know about the article you're referring to. That's the one that came out a year before my wedding. I've been married almost 3 years now, so the article is approx 4 years old. I'm not trying to rip you a new one- I'm just trying share accurate information.
