Carpet Installation - how long should it take?
I'm sure this is not an easy question to answer, but I'm wondering if it was me or if anyone else would think that 9 hours is WAY too long?
Since the floors of the entire house needed to be re-done, we opted to have rugs installed instead - for $$ reasons.
We had carpet installed in the living room, upstairs and downstairs halls (very small), our steps and 3 bedrooms - not enormously big or with alot of furniture in them. One room had NO furniture. DH was helping to move furniture.
They got to our house at 10 and didn't leave until 7. At first they had 1 guy doing the installation alone. I asked if they were going to send help and they did, but at 3pm.
They did a good a good job, but I really felt it could have been done faster - am I wrong?
What do you think?
