She can’t win.

She either reveals too much about the accident, not enough of her face, has too much makeup on, shouldn’t have released a statement, blah blah blah.

She had an unfortunate accident and as a public persona, decided to beat the paps to it and made a statement. Why? Duh. She’d end up being trailed to plastic surgery offices.

I scrolled her Instagram...there’s like barely a peep about this accident but there sure are a few posts about different charities and she’s obviously a supporter of female athletes and that’s cool stuff.

It seems like people wanted to see some sort of scars and that is fcked up. So what if she covered scars with makeup? Wouldn’t everyone do the same. damn. thing. if they were performing in front of thousands of people?

Some of y’all are acting like she was gonna walk out on that stage looking like Hatchetface from Crybaby but somehow wrangled it all under spatulas full of coverup.

Years ago I fell. It knocked out a tooth and I had multiple abrasions on my face that took forever to heal. I would not leave the house. I am by no means beautiful or high maintenance. But the way that my face looked I was mortified. I took like 6 weeks off from work until it all healed. People did not see me forever. It just made me feel awful. I am sure that she felt it was much worse than it actually was and this was her way of coping.
