If you have any garments from Carter's FALL 07 line, they've been proven to cause rashes. If you call them and complain, they will send you a mailing label to return the clothes and cut you a refund check. The labels must have the white solid background. Here's a link to their site re this matter:

the chances of getting fall 07 stuff in the stores now is pretty small. you can look on the tag to see when it's from. they're almost 2 years old at this point

only babies with very sensitive skin would be affected. my son has had no problems at all with any carters products.

MY DS had no problems at all but I am going to return them b/c I dont want to take teh chance with DS #2. If you call them they send you a bag to send everything back in and they give you full MSRP for them.

It happens with the new stuff too.

My DS is 21 mos and went 20 months wearing carters undershirts every day with NO problems whatsoever. About a month ago he started getting a terrbile rash on his upper back/neck. Took him to the ped that said he is allergic to something he is wearing. I couldn't imagine what b/c i wash everything b/f he wears it and use dreft and pretty much everything he wears is 100% cotton.

Well i came across a post on here about this issue and I started turning the undershirts inside out. Within a week the rash was COMPLETELY gone.

Ped says sometimes they can all of a sudden b/c sensitive to things so you never know!

i would also think if you shop in places like TJ Maxx or Marshalls - the chance is increased - since they do sell brand names or 'off' items...

DISCLAIMER: There's NOTHING WRONG with shopping at those stores - i do! i'm just saying - you don't know how old their stuff is sometimes.... Chat Icon Chat Icon
