Casey had a scary adventure!
Our dog Casey has a doggie door, so while we aren't home she can go in and out during the day. Our backyard is fenced in so it is safe. Apparently yesterday the wind was really strong- so strong that it lifted our patio table umbrella out of the hole and flung it across the bakyard. We don't know what happened- either the wind pushed the gate opened or there's a whole in the fence we don't know about. I think she got scared when the umbrella went flying- she's really scared of loud noises. A woman found her on Pulaski Road! She was so kind, she saw that Casey was heading towards our house (I'm proud that Casey found her way home) but didn't want to leave her because noone was home. So, she brought her to the vet because casey was limping and then brought her home.
I don't understand what happened- we are going to go over every inch of the fence- we are also replacing the latches on the gates. I'm sending the woman flowers- she was SO kind! Casey was limping because her paw pads are raw- she must have been walking four hours- she can barely walk today. I know she will be okay but when I think about her wndering around- with cars....

oh no poor casey!!! i am so glad she is ok!!!
that happened to our patio table too once in a storm.....we left the umbrella open and the wind lifted the umbrella and table up and smashed the glass table everywhere!
My casey is afraid of loud noises too

Yesterday was scarier for her probably than 10 garbage trucks and 10 vacuum cleaners!

Awwww... poor baby.
I live one block south of Pulaski. I'm sorry I didn't see her. Glad she's ok. BTW: The winds were really bad yesterday in our neighborhood.
