Cat owners-recommendations needed on automatic litter boxes!
We have two cats and the regular old fashioned litter boxes are not cutting it, especially when we are gone overnight.
Which one is the best? TIA!

I tried the automatic litter box..and had one cat that was so freaked out it moved and made noise she wouldn't go in it...she went elsewhere. I even set it for the longest time to move after she got out and it didn't matter. The first time she heard the noise she ran to look at it freaked out and ran away. Never set foot in it again.

Same here mine ran like the wind when it went on and scare her to death. So we gave it away and use the old fashion box. I didn't want to traumatize her more. I was afraid she would not use it and have accidents everywhere.

I have two cats and no problems.
when I first got it, they would come back and watch it everytime it cleaned.
almost like a movie, they would hear it and run in and sit down.
I've had 3 different littermaids, I dont recommend them. Each one had a different problems.
I would try a different brand when I buy one again.
if you google "automatic litter box reviews" you'll get some websites with reviews of all the different ones.
ETA
I remember scoopfree automatic litter box getting good reviews last time I looked for a new one.
