Cat Rescue Help Needed Immediately

For purposes here I will call her my "friend" I spoke to her this morning and she was frazzled because she found a mama cat and kittens under her shed. Her dog was going nuts and she was pizzed off that the cat was hissing at her dog I told her the mama was trying to protect her babies and she should understand that being a mother herself. I told her it was her responsibility to trap the mom and rescue the kitties and find them good homes. Her response: I hope my dog eats them.

She also mentioned that she wants to get rid of her adult cat because she accidently locked him in her closet for 2 days when they went away and "I cant even tell you what it smelt like". My response: "Oh, so you're pizzed off at your CAT because YOU locked him in there?"

I dont know what to do. I cant rescue these kitties. I dont even know how old or how many kittens there are. I live in a coop and already have two cats of my own (that HATE each other by the way) and would have nowhere to keep them. I feel sick to my stomach and am over emotional because of personal crap too. She lives out in the Yaphank area. Is there anyone I could call? Short of letting someone on her property, she is really not willing to extend herself to do anything (other than sic her dog on them).

i hope you can get someone to go there. that sounds terrible and imo unacceptable. i hate hearing things like that!!

you are a good person to be looking out for these kitties that have no idea what they're up against!
