CBE Digital OPK - Quick question
I ordered my CBE OPK with the 's and they came in the mail today.
The instructions say that I can test any time of the day (as long as it's the same every day), and that a lot of women test with FMU. But I've read on here that you should test in the afternoon.
So, does it make a difference?

Re: CBE Digital OPK - Quick question
people test with FMU because its easy...no holding, just wake up and go.
But the only issue with that is that the hormone surge begins in the am and is not detectable usually til the afternoon.
So while you will get a in the morning if you test it may be the middle of the surge instead of the beginning.
I test in the afternoon because I need to know the start of my surge because I am doing IUIs.

Re: CBE Digital OPK - Quick question
i used to test at night. mainly because i would test in the am with the cbefm. so i would get a night reading and a morning reading. it worked out nicely bc i got the smile on the opk the night before i would get a peak from the cbefm

So, does it make a difference?
i've read NOT to test w/fmu when it comes to this... and i have a friend who's wife tested in the am for a month and never got a positive. the following month she testing in am then again at 9pm and never got a positive in am, only during the 9pm test. (btw she's due the end of may )
where did you order the test from? i used FR OPK that i bought in cvs and what a waste of $45... never got a positive, though my bloodwork showed i was ovulating

I ordered from Amazon - $25 for a kit with 20 test sticks.
I never considered testing at night. That might work out the best for my schedule. Thanks for the advice!
