Question for those who use the Digital OPK's
Does the test line on the stick get darker as you approach Ovulation?
I started testing on CD 10, and got a faint line then, then tested yesterday, and there was no line, then today, there was the faintest of lines. Is there anything to that?

I use digital smiley OPKs, sorry I can't be of any help. There's an (800) # on the instructions...give them a shout.

Re: Question for those who use the Digital OPK's
Are you sure you're using digital? It sounds like you are using the other kind (I don't know what they call non-digital).
I used the ones with the lines this month and the instructions said that if the line is as dark as or darker than the control line you are ovulating. Any other line should be considered a negative result.

It is the smiley OPK's. I'm talking about after you get your smiley (or in my case empty circle)- when you pull the stick out of the tester- is there anything to the lines that are there? I know one is a control line- and the other the test line. Does the test line grow darker as you approach ovulation, even if its the smiley digital type?
Sorry if I wasn't clear!

I still don't get what you are asking...there is no test line or any line to get darker on the digitals w/ the smiley....digitals are empty circles until you get a smiley w/ your LH surge...

Those lines have nothing to do with ur test results. They are just controls to make sure the test is working. I believe it says on the instructions that these lines should not be used to determine O.

Re: Question for those who use the Digital OPK's
i do find on the test insert the lines get darker when you get the smiley. but they never ever match in strength like a non-digi OPK. they do say not to read too much into that either. good luck!
