CBE Monitor girls WWYD?

So I'm on CD 19 and no high fertility yet. As I've posted before I had some injections in my back that can definitely inhibit ovulation (didn't know that at first). So I am thinking at this point I am going to just stop testing for this month and start again next month. I hate wasting the sticks.
My previous history is completely regular 26-28 day cycles and ovulation days 12-14.
I can just reset the monitor next month like I did when I got it off Ebay right?

you can reset it when your next AF comes. For myself, as long as the monitor was still asking me to test, I would test. I didn't even get a peak this month until CD25

If I'm normally like clockwork (I mean my entire life) should I just chalk it up to the drugs? I just hate wasting these sticks. I have no signs of ovulation and last month even without ovulating AF came on CD30. I guess the shot doesn't affect progesterone which brings on AF just the ovulation hormones.

That is up to you to stop or not. I feel the same way about wasting the strips. They arent cheap Chat Icon

Did you at least BD this month? Maybe you caught it anyway?

We did but I can pretty much tell by my body that I didn't ovulate. I'm finally OK with that. I know it will happen soon enough.
I think I'm going to stop and reset next month even though I can still not ovulate then according to some of what I read but I'll give it a try.

Have you gotten any other symptoms of ovulation? I think it might be more helpful for you, at this point, to start temping to see exactly what's going on. You can definitely reset the monitor when AF comes.

No and I usually get EWCM. I know why I'm not ovulating so I just think I need to give it a month or two for the drugs to clear my system.
Temping won't work for me. I'm never up at the same time every day. Sometimes I'm up at 6 other days 8 and on the weekend sometime s 9.

Re: CBE Monitor girls WWYD?

I am so in your same boat! I got a new monitor b/c I thought I began ovulating again.(I am 4 months pp and EBF, but I had some spotting when I got off BC and I had EWCM so I figured I would spend the money on the monitor) But so far I have not ovulated and I don't want to keep wasting money on the sticks either.

I plan on just completely resetting the monitor when AF really shows up, and seeing what happens. Until then I won't waste more money on sticks, we are just BDing every other day to be safe.

It might be drugs and stressing yourself out. I think last month I was so stressed about my vomitting kitty that I didn't actually ovulate and I even got a peak reading. I would just wait and keep BD'ing JUST in case at least every other day and then start over next cycle fresh.Chat Icon

As for temping I have my alarm set for the earliest time I get up. Which is 3:30 am when DH gets up for work. He wakes me up and I temp and go back to bed and I wake up and do the same on the weekends, just go back to bed after.

Me too. While I really like the CBEFM because it narrows the timeframe and confirms that there is a hormone surge, I prefer the charting - it really does give me a very accurate picture of exactly what's going on and when.
