CBEFM Question
This may be TMI, but my SIL was kind enough to lend me her CBEFM (fully sterilized of course) because DH and I are trying to get pregnant (obviously) and she got pregnant the first cycle she used it and I have had cysts in the past and was told I may have a hard time getting PG. Here is the thing though, I think it still has all of her info in it even after resetting the m button to CD 5. Does anyone know how to reset the whole monitor or if I take the batteries out for more than 2 hours does it reset itself? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Thanks! to everyone!

Re: CBEFM Question
try this : I found this online in a couple locations but have not had to do it myself yet.
1. With the monitor off, place a clean unused test stick with the cap on into the monitor.
2. Make sure it snaps in.
3. Press and hold the "m" button.
4. Turn on the monitor.
5. Continue to hold the "m" button. It will show you the "remove the test stick" sign.
6. Keep pressing the "m" button and in about 20 seconds you will see a screen full of symbols. The screen will look as if it is going crazy and will be full of pictures.
7. Once that stops, remove the test stick and then release your finger from the "m" button. All of the memory would be wiped out.
8. You can then set your current cycle date by pressing and holding the "m" button until your correct cycle day shows up (1-5). If you are past cycle day 5 then you must wait until your next cycle to use the monitor.
NOTE: Perform the reset during your chosen "test window" time. See Instruction Booklet for details on choosing your preferred time.

Re: CBEFM Question
It doesn't matter if you re-set it, the monitor takes 2-3 months to get to know your body, it only holds the information for 3 months. I have a used monitor also, and after the first month is was detecting my O the same time as OPK's.
