CC fees for paying on time/not carrying balance??
I just heard that Bank of America starting next year will be charging fees of $35-$99 for accounts that pay ontime and have never had a balance and for people that have never paid a late or overdraft fee?!? Are they really that greedy?? Is that true? That is ridiculous!!

That makes me sick to my stomach.
I hope the idiots who came up with that idea (& even more the assholes that approved it) gets their leg slammed in their car door.

American Express already does this with some of their cards.

Wow...guess I know what CC I'm cancelling! Better redeem my points then get rid of the card. This is ridiculous!

Are you sure it's not an annual fee they're instituting? I heard several CC companies will begin charging annual fees soon. I have 2 BoA cards and they're 2 of my oldest cards so I will be really mad if they start charging fees for no reason. Guess I'll be getting rid of them.

It said on the "TODAY" show that it was fees, not annual fees. They are extra fees.

With BoA specifically, it looks like it's a test of annual fees. BoA is testing an annual fee on 1% of their customers, specifically those with rewards cards. The annual fees range from $29-99. I guess they're trying to see how much they can charge before customers start to walk.
