CD3 appt - this might be a stupid question
Sorry, if this is stupid but I haven't had a cd3 appt yet so I am clueless. 
Can I wear a tampon there? Obv, I take it out when I get there but I wasn't sure if this was okay or if I need to wear a pad. Does it matter?
i am going first thing tomorrow morning...i just hope it doesnt get delayed bc of the weather. i can't miss work!

i was just going to FM you to see if you went to AFS. first, regarding your q: i do not think it matters. I always wear a pad, but if you want a tampton, i do not see why not. You will still bleed while waiting for the u/s, and it is normal. They have a pad on the chair ( usually), so do not sweat it.
Now, did you need to actually make an apt? I called them, b/c i have to go on Fri, they said they start at 8 till 12. NO apt, and go straight to 5th floor. I thought you have to sign up in the lobby?

thanks for replying! I was planning to go today so I called yesterday afternoon and they said no appts needed but they only do M W and F which I didn't know. I wish I had known that because I would have gone Monday morning, but now I have to go tomorrow which is actually cd4.
The woman on the phone told me the hours were 7:45am-12pm, but she didn't say anything about signing up?!

do not worry about cd4, it is the same. CD3 testing can be done anytime cd2-cd5.
Now, i was told the same about M, W and Fr monitoring. And i did not fully get it. If I need to be monitored on another day, they can't? what the hell?

It doesn't matter if you wear a tampon there. As long as it's out when you're on the table for your sono, what's the difference???

good!...thankyou! it was pretty quick. The tech who did the sonogram said everything looked good...no cysts on my ovaries phew! The only problem was during the bloodwork the girl couldnt find my veins so she kep poking me so I have poke marks and bruises on both arms and my hand. DH said I look like a heroin addict
I am still waiting to hear from Dr. B even though I emailed/called multiple times today. Hopefully he gets back to me to go over all the results.
