CD3 Bloodwork question
When I called to make my appt for NSUH, I explained that AF was looming & I was wondering if I should get CD3 bloodwork done beforehand. They advised me to contact my OB (NSUH can't give me script since I didn't see the Dr yet).
Well I got AF this morning, so I was going to call my OB but I will be out of town until Monday. Should I tell that that it will be CD4 or just lie???
TIA

Re: CD Bloodwork question
I would call the doctor for a script and then go to any Quest Lab where ever you will be....
I wouldn't lie because the results might not be that accurate since the test is usually done on CD3 or CD2 and not CD4.....don't know how much different they would be (I am sure not much but better be safe)...

Re: CD3 Bloodwork question
I have had BW done on CD 4. I was told 2, 3 or 4 are virtually the same. However, did you think about getting a scrip from your doc to do it while you are out of town? I have done that many times
