Ceiling paint
My neighbor who is a carpenter said to me today, that I do not have to paint my ceilings, since they already have a few coats of primer on them. He said that when he does a job, he using 2 or 3 coats of primer and doesnt paint the ceiling after that. Have you heard of doing this before? Should I do another coat of primer, or paint the ceiling with a flat white paint? Thanks, Scott

Re: Ceiling paint
I would still paint them white. My Dh primed my walk in closet and will be painting it white in the next few weeks, but right now it looks light blue.

Re: Ceiling paint
The thing is that they r white now. I may buy some Bm muresco ceiling paint tomorrow and just do the downstairs ceilings, since they were rolled. The rest of the house was sprayed primer.

Re: Ceiling paint
i think if the primer covers the spot and is a true white, you might be good. personally though i would still do a coat in white... sorta seals the primer in and changes the finish.
