Celebrity Summit
Has anyone been on this cruise?
We are looking into cruises and this one had an AMAZING price the week we are looking.
The RC cruise we were looking into was almost twice the amount.
MY concern is some of the reviews saying it's dated and the food is ok.
We are going with another family with all our kids.
Kids will be around 6 - 9 year olds. Is there fun stuff for them?
We were on the Disney cruise a couple of years ago so of course you can't beat that.
Just seeing mixed reviews so was getting a little worried.

Celebrity Summit
I went on it many many years ago, maybe 7 years?
Celebrity does have some kid activities, but not many. It is tilted older with more 'elegant' activities.

I like Celebrity but it's not as kid friendly as other cruise lines.

I was on it about 7 years ago. It was nice, but kind of dated even back then. Not sure which Royal ship you're looking at, but most of them have more activities for the kids than that Celebrity ship.

Celebrity Summit
I have been on that ship and to me it was the best cruise ever. The food was the best we ever had on a cruise. It is dated and smaller, but for me I like that. I gate huge crowds and the bigger newer ships to me are overwhelming.
Now, we were 2 adults only on this boat, no kids. Would I bring my kids, probably not to be honest. I think they might be bored if they are expecting a lot of 'hoopla' know what I mean?

Celebrity Summit
I've been on a couple Celebrity cruises and agree with the others- its not as child-friendly or child-centered. We just got back from Bermuda on the Norwegian Escape and the Celebrity Summit was right there with us on the same schedule. Most of the people I saw on that ship were older and I didn't see many kids. Our ship had a lot of kids and tons of activities for them.

Celebrity Summit
I’ve taken Celebrity cruises a couple of times. We specifically took it because people with kids tend not to choose Celebrity. If you were going without children, I’d 100% recommend Celebrity. With kids, however, I’d choose a different company.
