Cell phone picture question....
On Friday night I went to my best friends daughters dance recital. One our other friends was there and she took a lot of pics with her cell phone. Last night she sent me 26 pictures! While I love my best friends little girl, she is like a niece to me, am I going to be charged when I open these pictures on my cell phone. 26 pictures is a lot of money to be opening ! Also,if I am going ot be charged, how do I delete them before I open them? I have Verizon. TIA! What was the sender thinking???!!!

I know I can receive them and sent them, but I think it is 10 cents a text and 75 cents to send a pic, but not sure if I get charged when someone sends them to me. 
26 pictures what was she thinking? Now I have to open it to get rid of it.... Not that I am cheap becuase I am not, but that is a waste of money to me....

OMG!! That's not even funny.Call Verizon and tell them you want them off... I would (very gently) explain this you GF so she doesn't repeat this.

the only thing i could find on the Verizon website is that it's .20 cents to send and .20 cents to receive a text, so i would assume that the same is true for picture mail - which means that i don't think it matters if you open the picture, once you receive it, it's charged to your phone bill.
call verizon to make sure though  sorry this happened to you!!!
