Cell Phone Question
If your phone is stolen, and you get a new one, do you have to get a new number? Can you just keep your old one?

Re: Cell Phone Question
No, phone numbers are portable between services and phones.
If you use a phone with a SIM card, they need to deactivate that SIM card and give you a new one, but that should have nothing to do with the phone number.

Thanks! It had a SIM card, so I think they might be able to keep the #.

Re: Cell Phone Question
They give you the option of a new number but you don't have to accept it.
