ok to drink during all trimesters?

I've heard varying opinions on teas during pregnancy. I drank (and still do) the Yogi brand Mother to Be tea. I brought to my OB and asked her if it was safe first and she said yes.

I hope so, I have been drinking regular tea with milk on occassion throughout my entire pregnancy.

never heard of yogi brand mother to be tea... where do u get it grocery store? health food store.... thanks so much

I buy it at Whole Foods. A friend of mine has ordered it online before. Here is their site, it also has a store locator on it. I love it!!

I read in one of my preg. books to avoid herbs and herbal teas, so I have not been drinking much chamomile tea. IMO, in moderation you should be fine. There is a lot of conflicting info out there about this.

Of course ask your own dr. but mine said chamomile was fine, peppermint and any of the celestial seasons except sleepytime. She wasn't sure what was in that one - but I think that one is yucky. I like chamo and peppermint mixed.

I'd check with your doctor, but you can give a baby chamomile tea, so it may be ok.

I was told it was ok and I actually found it very helpful when I had nausea and also when I have heartburn. It's ok to give to babies so I think it would be ok during pregnancy.
