Chandelier/lighting fixture not centered above table
Is yours centered? Is it a big deal for a room design? Our dining area and living area is in one long room. We have a ceiling light/fan centered in the living area then we have a formal lighting fixture for the dining area which is centered on the ceiling too but the way our dining table is positioned it is no where near being under the light fixture. Our table is more along a wall and not in middle so that there could be more room to walk. We have a kitchen off this area and a informal living room as well so we like having the additional space. So in summary again (trying to explain this as best i can) in one long room we have two light fixtures centered on the ceiling but the dining table is way off along a wall. Wondering what your design thoughts are about this..., a big deal or not really?

If it's not over the table at all then it's not a big deal. However, if the chandelier is even partially over the table, then, yes, it should be centered.
