I have this 6 arm from Pottery Barn the same style and everyone loves it!

I think you are supposed to consider the size of your table and the size of the room when you choose a chandelier.

Yes, you should go by the size of the table and room.
They are very pretty, I like the 9 arm. It's just a matter of wether it's to big for that room and table.
