Well..now we've talked it over and decided that for the things they want to take...we want $$$$ for them...

It wasn't in the contract....so they don't get them...

Re: Change of contract...updated in last post.

First I agree that their attorney should have asked them prior to sending out the contracts if there was anything specific they were going to leave or take before sending out a contract. A sellers attorney should go over the basics with their client before sending a contract out but at the same time letters usually from seller's attorneys (and mine state the same thing) state that "I have not discussed the terms of the contract with my client and that things can change." Of course it is worded better but that is basically what is says, so if the seller's didn't sign it yet then technically they haven't approved the terms of the contract. Isn't the way that I would do it with my client's if they were selling but some attorneys do. If both parties signed the contract though and now they are saying they want things they should be willing to give you money and of course fix holes in walls from an air conditioner that is just ridiculous.

I thought that once you sign the contract, that's it. All is said and done!If it wasn't stated in the contract it's too late! I think you have every right to say if you want them to take the stuff or not now. Your lawyer should be able to tell you anyway. Good luck!
